How to pause my shop

If you are unable to accept orders or wish to temporarily pause your shop on Markato, you may set your shop as inactive. When this is switched on, your products will automatically be unpublished. Retailers won’t be able to discover your products or place additional orders.

While your shop is set as inactive, you retain access to your account and may continue to fulfill existing orders which have previously been accepted.

Turning on pause mode

You can set your shop status as active or inactive by clicking on Settings on the left navigation bar of your Markato portal. Once you are on the Settings page, toggle off your Availability on platform.

Resuming my shop

If you wish to resume your Markato storefront, you can do so by pressing the toggle again.  A message will be displayed to remind you that it is necessary to manually publish your products to ensure they are once again visible to retailers browsing on Markato.
