Brand Logo
Your Logo Image should be an eye-catching logo graphic of a minimum of 400x400 pixels.
Please follow these additional guidelines to select your brand logo:
- Your brand’s name must be visible in the logo.
- Do not upload a product image in lieu of a brand logo.
- Keep the logo design simple and neat.
- Avoid static images of the brand name against a white background.
- Please ensure that the logo is a square image.

You can update your Logo Image under My Brand Page. A Change button will appear when you hover over the Logo Image field. After you have clicked on the button, you can upload your desired photo.

Cover Image
Your Cover Image is the banner featured at the top of your Markato storefront. It should be representative of your brand proposition, identity and taste. Ideally, it should feature several of your most popular products or product categories.
Lifestyle or editorial images displaying your products in use or against a compelling backdrop are preferred to static photos.
Cover images must be a minimum of 1,111x252 pixels and follow these guidelines:
- No text
- No photo collages
- No inappropriate content
- No nudity

You can update your Cover Image under My Brand Page. A Change button will appear when you hover over the Cover Image field. After you have clicked on the button, you can upload your desired photo.

Your Brand Story
About Your Brand allows Markato’s buyers to learn more about your brand in your own words. We recommend focusing on aspects of your brand that are best conveyed through text, such as the following:
- Your brand’s history
- Your brand's unique selling point
- Your brand’s commitment to quality
- Your team
- Your design and production process
- Your best-selling products
- Stories and anecdotes
We would also like you to touch on the following specifics to give buyers a better understanding of your brand:
- Year founded
- Where your brand is located
- Lead time range
- Social media information (if applicable)

Photo Gallery
Your brand’s Photo Gallery is a chance for you to visually showcase your brand’s offerings and story to wholesale buyers. You are able to upload at most and at minimum 8 images to the Photo Gallery. Images must be a minimum of 1,050x1,050 pixels.
These images should be representative of your brand’s proposition, identity and taste. Examples can include:
- Product images of featured products from your Markato catalog – we recommend dynamic photos showcasing your products in use
- Editorial shoots featuring several of your products
- Images showcasing your team or production process
Here are some images to avoid:
- Images featuring products not available to purchase on Markato
- Images that contain text or your brand logo
- Images with a plain white background

Add a new photo by clicking Add Photos to the left of the photo carousel, and delete a photo by clicking the Trash icon at the top right corner of the image.
Submit for Approval
The Submit for Approval button at the top right of My Brand Page allows you to submit the edits you have made to your Brand Page for approval by the Markato team. After each editing session, make sure to click the Submit for Approval button so that your changes are saved and updated.
Please note that you are not able to edit your brand page after submitting for approval until your submission request is approved by our team.
