How do Markato's retailer terms affect me?

We provide the benefit of 90-day free returns for a buyer’s first order from a brand. In the event that a buyer finds that particular products are not suitable for their store, we allow them to return those items without cost. There is no responsibility or cost incurred by the brand should the first order be returned. 

Additionally, we also offer our buyers net-60 payment terms. This does not affect your payouts as a brand; the order value minus our commission will be credited to your Markato account upon order delivery. Payouts to your bank account occur every 1st and 16th of the month of the accumulated credit in your Markato account.

What happens to my returned products? 

Returned products are bought back by Markato and made available for resale to other Markato wholesale buyers. Our team will carefully examine each returned product to guarantee that the items being resold are in original condition. Unless the merchandise reflects the authentic representation of your brand, we will not redistribute it.
