If you make a payment either via credit card at checkout, or bank transfer after you place an order, the full amount paid would be settled into our account. There are several situations where the amount to pay for an order may have changed, after we receive your funds. These include:
- One or more brands have rejected part of your order
- You canceled the order within the 24 hour window
- Your order was automatically canceled (for example, if we were not able to verify your Retailer status)
Rest assured, you will always get your money back under these situations.
If one or more brands have rejected part of your order
In this scenario, we will first return the excess amount into your Markato Wallet. This is so that you can make any replacement or amended orders as quickly as possible.
We will also contact you immediately if this situation arises, and you will have the option to get a refund via your original payment method. This typically takes 1-3 business days, depending on the payment method
If you cancel your order or if you order was canceled by Markato
We will refund you the full payment amount via your original payment method. This typically takes 1-3 business days, depending on the payment method.
